NewWorld Volunteer

NewWorldVolunteer.ORG is a unique volunteering adventure dreamed up and made a reality by two brothers, Devon and Dave Hurley. This round-the-world expedition aims to produce positive impacts across the globe, improving quality of life for people wherever the crew sails. The projects undertaken along the way will be the means by which to achieve this end, and the method of travel will hopefully prove to be that which most significantly minimizes the carbon footprint of the voyagers. The idea of course, is not only to create awareness of the project, but on a larger scale, to increase awareness of environmental and humanitarian issues.

We will be setting sail on a 41 foot (12.5 metres) sailing vessel named the “Ago Vita”, Latin for “Live Life”, which will take us around the world in search of volunteering opportunities and our chance to make a positive impact on the environment and those people we meet along the way

We will strive to promote a better world by providing direct assistance through construction of reliable shelter, by enabling education, by promoting community development and the preservation of nature and by educating others so they can continue in this vein after we leave. We are, and always will be, committed to helping
communities in need and restoring environmental health around the globe.
