Sustainable Homes Limited is a leading training and advisory consultancy operating in the field of sustainable housing. Since being established in 1997 we have built up an enviable range of experience and a reputation as an authority on the subject. We have particular expertise in providing training on environmental standards, such as the Code for Sustainable Homes and Low Carbon Retrofit.

In addition to training we can also help your organisation to formulate and implement its approach to sustainability, whether it be the development of a sustainability strategy or the undertaking of specific initiatives, such as engagement with residents on sustainability issues.

Our parent company is Hastoe Group. Although Sustainable Homes is a company limited by guarantee we are also a social business, which means that our profits are used to provide affordable housing for Hastoe's residents.

What we`ve done:

We’ve trained developers, architects and planners, spoken on national platforms, participated in the development of environmental standards, run workshops and training events, developed guidance and policies, produced topical newsletters keeping industry leaders up to speed and provided a library of good practice case studies to name but a few of our core activities.

Regional and international awarding bodies have taken notice of our work, making us an award winning training and consultancy provider. Our most recent award is the Green Apple Business award which also gained us international recognition.

Our most recent actions have been assisting organisations to develop action plans and sustainability strategies for getting to 30% less carbon.
