Drawing on the knowledge and experience built up by three generations of bee-keepers, GUADANATUR's modern facilities produce high-quality products that reach the market with all of their properties intact.
GUADANATUR's organic bee products, which are produced by carefully nurtured native bees resistant to disease and able to withstand local climatological conditions, bear the 'Miel de La Alcarria' Designation of Origin recognised and endorsed in national and international markets.
CURRICULUM
• GUADANATUR selected by the ICEX (Instituto Español de Comercio Exterior – Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade) to represent Spain at the gourmet products show held at the Hotel Bristol in Paris in September 1997.
• GUADANATUR featured in an article published in 'Le Monde' on 29 October 1997, acknowledging the quality of our honey.
• GUADANATUR featured in an article published in the December 1997 issue of the French food magazine 'Néorestauración' acknowledging the quality of our honey.
• GUADANATUR selected by the ICEX to represent Spain at the gourmet products show held in Seville in 1998.
• GUADANATUR named winner of the Award for Quality at the 6th edition of the southern European honey show held in Sienna, Italy.
• GUADANATUR's product selected as one of the 6 best honeys on sale in the United States in the April 1999 issue of 'The Gourmet Retailer'.
• GUADANATUR featured in an article published in the Food section of 'El Correo Vasco' on 6 March 1999. Written by Rafael García Santos, author of "Lo mejor de la gastronomía española" (The Best of Spanish Cuisine), the article recommended our lavender honey for its outstanding quality.
• GUADANATUR honey recommended in "Lo mejor de la gastronomía española".
• GUADANATUR awarded the Gold Medal at the "Gran Selección" event in 2000.
• GUADANATUR nominated for the Mª José Gallego award for "Best Environmental Conduct" in 2004 by the Spanish environmental action group Ecologistas en Acción
