Karina Kean
President and CEO
Karina, president and CEO, owns the vision of EcoPanas. Her passion for business and travel is now the core of this venture, which seeks to preserve and sustain this prosperous Latina American continent. Her first business adventure is Project-Tee, a company focused on the idea that individual contributions to non-profit organizations can positively change the future of our children, the fate of our animals and the sustainability of our environment. She is currently taking a break from her business degree to develop a career on building a strong foundation for the world and her family.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, friends and reading.
Julie Mattern
Web Designer and Project Manager
Julie is a social worker turned entrepreneur and web designer without formal training. She holds degrees in English from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania and Social Work from the University of Kentucky but has found new life realizing the vision of EcoPanas. Julie has always been deeply committed to the idea of social change and is now transferring her passion for social work to the preservation and renaissance of the Latin American eco-movement.
For leisure, Julie enjoys the company of good friends, good books and exploring the wonders of nature. The focus of her life is to help others appreciate and respect the environment she loves so well.
